Mont Saint Michel Abbey
The Benedictine Abbey on the Mont Saint Michel, a world famous pilgrimage site from the 8th to 18th centuries which boasts the most splendid religious and military architecture, is open 362 days a year.
There are several ways to visit the abbey : a self-guided tour, a commented tour, a conference or a « family visit ». Whichever you choose, your tour will take you around the abbey-church, the cloister, the refectory, the monks' promenade, the gardens and the west-facing terrace.
In the summer, concerts and late-night promenades are organised so you can admire the extraordinary medieval architecture in a different light.
